The auction of the 29 remaining condos for sale (out of 58 total units) in downtown Oceanside was a tremendous success. Multiple bidders on all 29 caused prices to rise above the opening bids, which ranged from $295,000 for 1,947sf in the back, to $625,000 for 2,500sf on the top floor, with full obstructable ocean view – for now. The vacant lot across the street can be built up to the same height, and block views.

Before I knew what was happening real estate agent Linda Martin had scampered up the rocks fronting Lake Michigan at 1440 Sheridan Rd, citing some random Norwegian gene for her actions.
I clambered up the rocks after her and we had a windswept chat about the large 1-bedroom she’s listed for sale on the 6th floor at $188,000.
Linda Martin is affiliated with Coldwell Banker’s Winnetka North office.

You can save a ton of money by purchasing a used Timeshare, but before you purchase second hand, there are a few things you need to watch out for first. Sometimes buying used means you will miss out on brand name perks associated with buying the Timeshare new, like using the Timeshare at brand hotels and getting loyalty points for using your Timeshare. But the most important thing to concern yourself with is making sure you don’t inherit the original owner’s debt when you purchase the used Timeshare. A great deal that looked like it was saving you money may end up costing you if the original owner has failed to pay his taxes and other fees on the property. Make sure you use a local real estate agent in the area you are purchasing the Timeshare, and look up the seller of the Timeshare in the better business bureau database to see if there have been any problems with them in the past. Buying a previously used Timeshare can be a great deal that will save you a lot of money… just make sure you proceed with caution and don’t end up getting screwed.

http://www.northattleboromahomes.com Tour North Attleboro, MA neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
North Attleboro, Massachusetts is an industrial town in Bristol county on the Rhode Island border. In pre-colonial times, it was the site of the Bay Path, a major Indian trail to Narragansett Bay, the Seekonk River and Boston. John Woocock and family established a small settlement in North Attleboro in 1669, which subsisted on agriculture, fishing and hunting, but also clearly liked a little conviviality because by 1670, Woocock had received a license to open an ordinary, or tavern.
The settlement at North Attleboro was attacked during King Philip’s War, with two killed and one home burned, but the garrison house which Woocock had built survived the attack. Recovery was swift after the war and the community grew very quickly. In about 1780, a French settler set up a forge for working brass and the industrial era arrived in North Attleboro. Englishmen brought with them British machinery from Birmingham in 1794 and designed American improvements in button-making which they patented.
During the 18th and early 19th centuries, small grist and sawmills were built along the Tenmile River, and subsequently established nail factories were eventually eclipsed by cotton spinning mills. The development of cotton spinning was spurred by the embargo on imports resulting from the War of 1812. Textiles and jewelry manufacturing were the staple industries of North Attleboro’s economy by 1832 but buttons were king.
By 1834, it was said that North Attleboro produced more buttons than anywhere else in the United States. Through the 19th century, there was tremendous growth and innovation in the jewelry industry and the number of firms in the town increased sharply. The Civil War spurred their growth with profitable U. S. Army orders for badges and medals. North Attleboro also retains an outstanding collection of mid to late 19th century houses, including several Italianate villas. For other town tours visit http://www.virtualhomes.com . http://www.northreadingmahomes.com Tour North Reading, MA neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
North Reading, Massachusetts is a suburban town that lies entirely within the watershed of the Ipswich River. The town has a number of simple center-chimney vernacular houses dating back as far as 1730.
In the 17th and 18th century, North Reading’s economy was based on subsistence farming with limited hops production. here was a sawmill on Lob’s Pond by 1694 and grist and saw mills at the village center by 1794. Boot and shoe making industries sprang up in the early 19th century; by 1850 almost every house in town had a small shed or shop to make shoes attached to it. The cheap footwear these houses produced was sold to clothe slaves in the south and the Civil War destroyed the town’s industry.
The people of North Reading take pride in the fact that their town center is preserved in its full historic splendor, including a Federal-style meeting house and an affluent Federal village with a well-preserved district of period houses. Find out exactly how you can sell your present home in a reasonable amount of time and move into a newer, larger home while keeping your payments near their current level. Make your dream a reality and put thousands of dollars in your pocket. Click here to get free details – no obligation. Fort Worth homes are available in many styles and price ranges. Property values are mostly steady right now but the trend has been modestly higher over the past few years.
Fort Worth Texas is home to a number of major corporations including RadioShack, Pier 1 Imports, American Airlines and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. All have a corporate office right downtown. Consistently ranked as one of the top places in the nation to live, work and do business, Fort Worth has twice been awarded the prestigious All-American City award by the National Civic League. With a population of over 585,000 (census figures – 2003), Fort Worth is now the 20th-largest city in America — passing Seattle, Boston and Washington DC. Most of the city’s growth over the past two years has been north of Loop 820 in a portion of the city known as the Alliance Corridor.
You can reach me by phone at 817-797-9047. I specialize in all Fort Worth Real Estate as well as Keller Real Estate. Fort Worth real estate is moderately priced compared to the nation as a whole, offering Texas residents an exceptional value to go along with our friendly and modern city atmosphere. Here you’ll find a pleasant climate, low unemployment, world-class shopping and services — and a number of school districts that are enjoying new facilities.
The real estate market throughout Fort Worth is active and thriving. Opportunities abound right now for moving-up to larger, newer homes. Many new home additions have been started in the past few years and some are still expanding. First time home buyers have been entering the market, inspired by low interest rates and affordable housing. This trend is allowing owners of smaller properties to purchase larger homes, which fuels an ongoing residential upgrade spiral. Like “musical chairs”, people are changing places while still leaving a few empty ones available. Add to this the new homes from the builders along with steady population growth and low cost purchase money, and you have the formula for a booming real estate market that’s expected to continue well into next year.
Dallas-Fort Worth area builders sold 11,196 homes in the third quarter of this year, an increase of nearly 7.5 percent from the previous year. During the same period, about 20,714 pre-owned homes were sold — that’s 2 percent below 2003 levels. The number of pre-owned houses on the market in North Texas grew in September — up 4 percent to 41,594 homes listed for sale. The median sale price of pre-owned houses fell by 3 percent from a year ago to $134,900. Through the first nine months of 2004, there was no real change overall in local home prices.

http://zacharyepps.com/old-north-boulder-neighborhood-profile/ The area between Broadway, Folsom, Iris, and Edgewood/Balsam streets is now commonly called the Old North Boulder neighborhood. See more useful Boulder real estate market information at http://www.zacharyepps.com Prior to the time that land was developed beyond Norwood, this area was North Boulder. Now with development stretching to the far reaches of the Dakota Ridge neighborhood, the Old North Boulder neighborhood is really a very central residential opportunity. I’ve spent many days exploring on foot, the roads and paths around central Boulder, and if you do the same you’ll come to realize just how close everything is in this part of town. It’s only a few blocks between local landmarks such as Vics and Ideal Market, over to Pearl Street, or up to Salberg Park. The two sister shopping centers, Ideal Marketplace and Community Plaza are home to many local favorites. Ideal Market has a long history that spans well beyond the age of the current shopping center, and it became an anchor for the other shops back in 1958. The Community Plaza shops on the south side of Alpine were built just two years later in 1960. Other businesses such as Alpine Barbers, Radda Restaurant, Breadworks, Marie’s Restaurant, The Boulder Wine Merchant, and the Pekoe Sip House give residents of the Old North Boulder neighborhood a plethora of opportunity for meeting most shopping needs without much travel. What a great concept in the days of higher gas prices and strong desires to conserve natural resources. One of those local businesses that’s been thriving in the area, The Pekoe Sip House, has a decade long history in the area. It was originally founded as the Tea Train in Longmont. After many accolades, and eventually being voted as having the Best Tea, and being the Best Tea House in the Denver Metro area in 2000, Tea Train evolved into Pekoe Sip House and moved to Boulder under the new name in 2003. Schools that service the area include Casey Middle school, Colu…
