which led my friend got almost nothing, her ex got all the realty estate, business, stocks, pension etc. The judge said all of these assets were of unknown value because the lawyer didn’t present any evidence about them.
Should she sue the lawyer or appeal to the divorce court?

An appeal probably wouldn’t help unless the judge made a mistake – it’s hard to believe that the judge would have awarded all of those items to husband just because the value wasn’t known. If they were things that the ex owned prior to marriage, the judge may have found that wife did not present any evidence that she contributed to any increase in value during the marriage, which would mean that husband would be entitled to those things.

She could sue the lawyer, although she may not get very far. If she really feels that the lawyer handled her case improperly, she should also report it to the state bar.

I entrusted a realtor to handle all aspects of the sale of my condo, including the choice of the settlement company and the title company. After settlement, with my realtor there with me, the buyer went through the settlement documents very closely and discovered that my realtor’s settlement company had mistakenly conveyed two parking spaces from my first condo instead of just one space from my new condo, as I had clearly instructed my realtor. Throughout the entire three months of the listing, the condo was advertised with just one parking space, as I had instructed my realtor. I trusted my realtor to choose and work with the best title and settlement companies from her extensive realty experience, since I had no idea how to transfer the two parking spaces from the condo that I was selling to the condo that I had just purchased, in exchange for selling that one parking space from my new condo along with the condo that I was selling. She failed to do this and left me holding the bag.

real estate agents should not be doing contracts. i know that many states have them doing so, but real estate agents don’t have qualifications beyond the real estate exam.

It’s been for sale for almost 2 months, and they’ve never put up a sign. It’s on zillow.com and other realty websites. They also had a realtors lock on the door for a few weeks, but it just came off this weekend. It’s laying on the porch. Any ideas?
Signs are allowed in the neighborhood. They have always been allowed. In fact, there’s one across the street, and the street behind, and about 5 more in the neighborhood.
It’s not vacant.

There could be several reasons. First off, as another said, there may be rules about yard signs in place. Secondly, the house may be vacant, and the sellers do not want to advertise such by having a yard sign in place. There are no requirements to have a yard sign. I’ve worked with more than one seller who has refused such signage.

She added, “I just wanted to talk about the show and my experience there and how fun it was, and he just made it a very uncomfortable and awful experience … I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all.”
